About Us Peak Pursuits specializes in Outdoor Challenges and Ropes Courses. We have been in business since 1996. What makes us different from other challenge course and ropes course providers is our full-time dedication to our craft. Our facilitators are trained both by outside sources and on a continuing basis by our own advanced trainers. We work with all types of groups including churches, youth groups, sports teams, non-profits, government, military, and corporations. The ages of participants vary from 10 to 70 years old. As no two groups are alike, we provide each group with experiences that are valuable for that group. We have facilitators that specialize in each group type ensuring that your group leaves us satisfied, excited and capable of working better with other people. We have varying competancies and backgrounds, but all share a passion for our job of developing groups and individuals. Staff Our staff includes people with degrees in education, psychology, outdoor education, business, organizational development, experiential education, and sociology. The experience of each staff member is between 7 and 18 years. Course Our course is located in the Golden Isles of Georgia at Epworth By The Sea on St. Simons Island with 95 acres along the banks of the historic Frederica River. Epworth By The Sea is a Methodist Retreat and Conference Center open to the public. While we conduct courses for over 3500 people a year Epworth has well over a hundred thousand people a year enjoying their facility.
